About Me
I have had, and currently have many titles in my life. Daughter, Student, Employee, Wife, Mother, Volunteer, Mother in Law, Grandmother, Manager, Director, Vice President and Friend. Everyone of these roles has frustrated me, energized me, drained me and changed me.
I have loved helping my companies and family grow. I love teaching and mentoring. I love watching the Ah-Ha moment when someone gets a concept that has been evading them. I loved helping employees grow into amazing and powerful managers and leaders.
Several years ago, my life started going through a rapid succession of changes. Professionally my organization, role and responsibilities changed rapidly. I went through many changes in my family and friendships. Stress came, but for the most part I did pretty well with it all. Then came a season where I wasn’t handling it well anymore.
I felt off, out of alignment, didn’t know what the future held. Because I held both professional and volunteer leadership positions during this time, I felt like I had to just keep performing. I didn’t know who I could really be honest with to work through what I was feeling. I knew that my words affected others, and I didn’t want to negatively affect those around me.
This is when I discovered Coaching.
Coaching provided the space where I could work through the thoughts and feelings that were running through my head, and a place to brainstorm new ideas. I learned where I was out of alignment with my values and my goals. I had new awareness of why things that I used to love were draining me of my energy now.
Coaching also helped me relate to the others around me in an improved way. It made me a better leader, co-worker, friend and support to those in my life.
I am excited to be able to provide you with the benefits of Coaching.
